Drink plenty of water throughout the day. The rule of thumb is to try to drink half your body weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, you need 75 ounces of water throughout the day. Being dehydrated causes the body to be hungry because it will crave the water that is naturally occurring in food. Bonus Tip: Drink ICE COLD water. Why COLD water? The body needs to heat up this water to digest it and this takes energy and burns calories! You can burn 50 to 100 extra calories per day!
