This week on To Your Good Health Radio it’s all about the kids.

Are you worried that your children will be sitting around all summer being bored and playing video games? Is that final report card still worrying you? Dr. Friedman talks with experts discussing ways you can keep your kids healthy and active this summer, and also how your child’s no-so-hot report card may be the end result of vision problems, not learning disabilities. VSP’s Sight For Students: Michelle Jones, a ten-year-old from Chicago had been struggling in school until her teacher noticed one day that one of her eyes was going crossed while she was looking at the board. According to the American Optometric Association, one in four children have an undetected vision condition that can negatively impact learning. VSP’s Sight for Students program, which provides free eyecare to low-income and uninsured students helped Michelle and 600,000 other children to have an eye exam and correct their vision problem, in many cases correcting the learning problems experienced at school. Hey I got tired of paying a monthly fee for discount plans. It doesn’t make sense that I have to pay $12.95 just to get a discount…Other than Healthsouk.com does anyone know any other free discount plans?
